Questions about Wildlife Removal

You probably have some questions about wildlife removal and how we do our job. Well, we have some answers below.

For most people, “nuisance wildlife” means an animal is destructive or menacing. The animal may be damaging property such as buildings, crops, pets, livestock, gardens, or public parks.

Try to close a door and confine it to one room or area and place a towel or blanket blocking the air gap across the bottom of the door. Call Natures Edge Wildlife Control, ASAP.
The nuisance animals removed will never return. However, if new species decide to try and inhabit your home, you could have another problem. We can provide many tips as to how to avoid that from happening.

It is our goal to catch the animal using the most up-to-date techniques and equipment to complete the task, also providing a humane and stress free experience for the animal. 99% of the time we use live traps to catch and hold the animal.

“Wildlife control” generally consists of managing animals  like chipmunks, squirrels, bats and larger. In general,”pest control” consists of managing mice, rats, and both flying and crawling insects.

Predicting nature is very difficult. However, if a skunk is living on your property, the catch rate is within a night or two. If the skunk is NOT living on your property, it can take several days because skunks like to wander about looking for food.

Grey squirrels have two breeding periods per year, one in mid-summer and another in early spring. Kits are usually born between March and April, with a second litter arriving around July or August. Females may give birth to one to nine kits at a time, though somewhere in the range of three to five is typical.
